And Networkers in London now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That Played with us upon St Eustace’s day!

Network Theatre (formerly the Southern Railways Dramatic Society) turns 75 this year. There has been drama company in continuous operation as part of the railway since 1939.

As part of our celebrations, we've set ourselves the exciting challenge of writing and producing a play in 24 hours. And it needs you!

It all starts at 7pm on Friday the 19th September when we meet around a blank whiteboard. We open to a paying audience at 7pm on the 20th.

We need writers, SMs, stage management, props, furniture, costume, direction, lighting and sound, masses of social media, not forgetting the actors. Bring a toothbrush, a sleeping bag and prepare for the most exciting 24 hours that Network has ever seen.

We're holding a briefing meeting at 7:30pm on Saturday the 13th September (doors 7pm) if you want to find out more. And tickets are only £5 so tell your friends to book soon for this unique event.
